Welcome to Art
Creativity is an important part of Art Class. We begin with a basic animal or theme and develop it into a beautiful picture by adding simple details.
Fine muscle coordination is developing in the children at this young age. Skills like coloring and cutting should be practiced as often as possible. We will be tracing, coloring, cutting, sketching, and drawing pictures.
We will also be using sponge paints and clay to expresses ourselves. Using clay will require the children to knead the clay and this skill will help in strengthening their fine muscle control.
Through Art we help the child develop.
Art is an important part of the children's curriculum as it is another means of expressing themselves.
