Student Life

At Ambrose Catholic Academy we take great pride in offering many opportunities for our students to develop mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially.  During the school year there are programs, many of which are integrated with classroom studies, that allow students to be immersed in various topics.  From retreats during Advent and Lent, Homespun Days, Family Fun Nights and special schoolwide events such as our Native American Celebration during Catholic Schools Week, every effort is made to extend learning beyond the classroom.

In addition to our many sports programs and Brendan'sVoyage, students also have an opportunity to participate in our annual musical which, for 2011 is "No Strings Attached", the story of Pinocchio.

We also provide an extensive instrumental progam where students can receive instruction in piano, guitar, flute, clarinet, and violin.  Lessons are provided for a minimal fee by our music teacher, Mrs. Lyn Rezebek.

Our Walking Club meets for a one mile walk daily at 7:00 A.M.

Students may also join the Junior Vincentians, an after school group dedicated to community service.  Members in grades 5 through 8 participate in projects such as collecting food and clothing items for the poor.

For the convenience of our families, there is an after-school program.  Click on the Extended Day Program link on the left for more information.
